The resistance in your life

Each of us has a unique gift and our own calling. The enemy to our talent is resistance.

What's resistance?

Resistance rejects anything which in the long-term would yield real growth or integrity. - Steven Pressfield

To live a fulfilled life, you must constantly rebel against resistance. Whenever you want to work on your projects but you "don't feel like it", that's resistance working its magic. Resistance is invisible and the most dangerous part of it is that it often stems from within you. Your reasoning, self-rationalizing, blaming external factors are all a version of resistance.

Recognise the existence of resistance, fight against it.

Who is a professional?

A professional acts with aggression but he is patient with the results because he knows anything worth doing will take time.

When you are a professional, you recognise the chaos and resistance in life so you impose your form of order with a clean and orderly environment to encourage creativity and productivity.

Everyone is afraid of the unknown, even the professionals. The difference is that the professionals understand that fear never goes away so they work in spite of it.

Above all, the professionals dedicate themselves to mastery. They hone their skills to become fully prepared for when inspiration strikes.
